36 Commuting Solutions is a non-profit public/private membership organization working to enhance mobility along the U.S. 36 corridor for today and the future.  

According to regional forecasts, the population along U.S. 36  is expected to rise 22%, employment will expand 40%, and traffic volumes are projected to increase dramatically over the next fifteen years. 36 Commuting Solutions works to reduce commute times and improve air quality even as traffic volumes rise. 

Whether you live, work, or travel along the U.S. 36 corridor, employ people who do, or are interested in the long-term growth and development of the area, 36 Commuting Solutions is your voice for transportation improvements, commuter information, and multi-modal resources.

-Consensus reached by the U.S. 36 Preferred Alternative Committee (PAC) on the vision for future U.S. 36 transportation improvements.  Learn more.  

-The U.S. 36 PAC is recommending a ‘combination’ alternative that is responsive to public comments and long-term transportation needs that, after additional analysis, is expected to be adopted as the Preferred Alternative. Click here see the components of this multi-modal recommendation.  

-The Combined Alternative includes a proposed U.S. 36 bikeway between Denver and Boulder.
